Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using ParseApi.dev (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ParseApi allows you to upload documents into folders, which are automatically processed by AI to extract structured data. The extracted data is accessible via a REST API endpoint.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload documents you do not have the right to process
  • Extract data from documents in violation of applicable law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or security controls
  • Resell or sublicense API access to third parties without our written consent
  • Upload malware, exploits, or any content designed to harm our systems or other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. AI Inaccuracy Disclaimer

The Service uses AI models to extract data from documents. AI-generated extraction results may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and relying on extraction results. ParseApi is not liable for decisions made based on AI-extracted data.

5. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

6. Plans, Billing, and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Usage-based charges are calculated and billed in arrears. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.

If a payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is resolved. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.

8. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all documents you upload and the extraction results generated from them. You grant ParseApi a limited license to process your documents for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any documents you submit to the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

The ParseApi platform, software, and brand are the intellectual property of ParseApi.dev. These Terms do not grant you any license to our IP other than the right to use the Service as described.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARSEAPI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PARSEAPI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ParseApi.dev operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
